In 1959, Chaplin released The Chaplin Revue, comprising three of his early silent films (A Dog’s Life, Shoulder Arms and The Pilgrim) with an orchestral music track he composed with the help of his music associate, Eric James. Chaplin also wrote the lyrics for The Pilgrim’s title song, “Bound for Texas”, which was sung by Matt Munro. (source: www.charliechaplin.com)
